Dreambert and Bedsmith, two creatures from the species of Pi’illo, woke up one morning without remembering who they were, where or how they arrived. They are located in an unusual house in an unknown city, they feel lost and confused. Just as panic is set, a peculiar man named Wonkky appears, claiming that they are their father. He suggests that they had to indulge who watched the TV the previous night, but before explaining more, the situation became even unknown. The creature named Starlow, arrives from an old sprite species, insisting that they are their friend. He says they planned to hang out, but Dreambert and Bedsmith have no memories of her or any such plans. Starlowe is reluctant to go outside, insecure in their surroundings. They wander around the city, acting as if they did not recognize the environment or Starlow. Despite their confusion, Starlow continues to communicate with them as if they were long friends. As he shows them around, Starlow patiently explains their alleged friendship and their names, trying to convince them. Dreambert and Bedsmith, however, remain disoriented and unable to laugh at their past or connection with Starlow. As the day continues, Starlow becomes worried, at first thinking that they just pretend to forget. But as their offers persist, she begins to worry that something serious is wrong with their memories. By the end of the day, Starlow’s uncertainty is deepening, and she wonders if there is anything more behind their oblivion. Dreambert and Bedesmith were returned back to the house where they first woke up, and Wonky-Star claimed that their father was giving them a bed that is unknown. Too tired and confused to protest, they settled into the night. As they fall asleep, their minds are filled with questions about their identity, their past and the cause of their subdten amnesia. The mystery of their lost memories is kept unanswered as they fall into an uneasy dream, uncertain about what the future has.
